Shanghai Baoshan Dahua Swordfish (WCBA) agreed terms with 31-year old American forward Crystal Bradford (183cm-1993, college: CMU). She is the second foreign player in the roster as Brazilian Kamilla Cardoso signed here earlier.
She was about to sign at Gran Canaria in Spanish LF Endesa.
In 2015 she was drafted by Los Angeles Sparks (WNBA) in first round (7th overall).
The former Central Michigan University standout is in her tenth season in pro basketball.
She represented USA at the World University Games in Kazan (Russia) eleven years ago. Bradford's team won Gold.
She is quite experienced player. Her career allowed her to visit four different continents, while she played in eleven different countries. Bradford tasted the life as a pro basketball player in Europe, Latin America, Africa and of course North America. She has played previously professionally in Brazil (Sampaio), Finland (Vimpelin Veto), Israel (Ramat Hasharon, Maccabi Bnot Ashdod, Hertzliya, Elitzur Holon and Hapoel Petah Tikva), Mexico (Adelitas), Poland (Poznan), Puerto Rico (Moca), Spain (Girona and Gernika), Turkey (Besiktas), WNBA (Indiana Fever, LA Sparks and Atlanta Dream), GWBA (Flint Lady Monarchs) and Egypt (Sporting).
Among many awards she won Mexican LNBPF championship title in 2023. Bradford was also voted Latinbasket.com All-United Cup Superior Guard of the Year in 2022.
