Carter comes back to Wuhan

Chennedy Carter

Wuhan Shengfan (WCBA) strengthened their roster with addition of 25-year old USA ex-international 175cm point guard Chennedy Carter (college: Texas A&M) for season 2024-25. It is actually her comeback to hengfan as she has played here before. She played most recently at Chicago Sky (WNBA). In 33 games she just recently played she recorded very impressive stats: 17.5ppg, 3.5rpg, 3.1apg and 1.1spg last season.
In 2020 Atlanta Dream voted her as fourth overall pick in WNBA draft.
The former Texas A&M University standout is in her fifth season in pro basketball.
She was also a member of the USA international program for some years. Carter played for USA Senior National Team back in 2019 and previously for the Under 19 National Team in 2017.
She represented USA at the Panamerican Games in Lima (Peru) five years ago. Her team won Silver and she had over 11 points per game.
Carter is a very experienced player. Thanks to her pro career she managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America) in five different countries. She has played previously professionally in Israel (Maccabi Raanana), Poland (Poznan), Turkey (Kocaeli), WNBA (LA Sparks) and China (Dragons).
Carter was selected to WNBA All-Rookie Team back in 2020.
