Shanghai Baoshan Dahua Swordfish (WCBA) landed 23-year old Brazilian international 201cm center Kamilla Cardoso (college: S.Carolina) for new season. She played most recently at Chicago Sky (WNBA). In 32 games she just recently played she averaged 9.8ppg, 7.9rpg, 1.7apg and 1.4bpg last season.
This summer Chicago Sky voted her as third overall pick in WNBA draft.
The former University of South Carolina standout
She graduated her college in 2024 and is in her first season in pro basketball.
Cardoso also represented Brazil at the FIBA South American Women's Championship in San Luis (Argentina) two years ago. Her was the best scorer at the tournament with almost 15 points per game, while she helped her team to won Gold. She was also selected to All-SEC Defensive Player of the Year in 2024. Cardoso played also for Syracuse University for one year.
