Xinjiang Flying Tigers (CBA) agreed terms with 25-year old American point guard Ashton Hagans (191cm-86kg-1999, college: Kentucky) for upcoming 2024-25 season. He played last season at Portland Trail Blazers in the NBA. In 19 games he had 4.2ppg, 2.4rpg and 2.8apg.
The previous (2022-23) season he played at Swarm in NBA G League. He also played for another NBA G League team Mad Ants in NBA G League.
Hagans is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in other USA teams, NBA (Minnesota Timberwolves), NBA G League (Iowa Wolves and Raptors 905 Mississauga) and NBA Summer League (Cleveland Cavaliers).
Among many awards his team made it to the NBA G League Semifinals in 2022. Hagans was also voted Naismith Defensive Player of the Year Finalist back in 2020 at his college time.
He graduated from University of Kentucky in 2020 and it will be his fifth season as a professional player.
