Eagles keep Powell for another season

Myles Powell

Qingdao Eagles (CBA) re-signed 27-year old USA ex-international 188cm guard Myles Powell (college: Seton Hall) for season 2024-25. He joins another USA player Umoja Gibson who is already in the roster.
He was a team leader there last season. In 48 CBA games he recorded very impressive stats: 25.5ppg, 7.1rpg, 6.4apg and 1.3spg. A very spectacular season in his career as he was voted to Asia-Basket.com Chinese CBA All-Imports Team, League Player of the Week (4 times) and Asia-Basket.com All-Chinese CBA First Team.
The previous (2023) summer he played at Rockets in U.S. semi-pro league NBA Summer League. He also played for Bay Area Dragons (PBA) in Filipino league.
He represented USA at the Panamerican Games in Lima (Peru) five years ago. Powell's team won Bronze and he had almost 15 points per game.
Powell is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in Philippines, NBA (NY Knicks and Philadelphia 76ers), NBA G League (Delaware Blue Coats and Westchester Knicks) and NBA Summer League (Philadelphia 76ers and Philadelphia 76ers).
Among many awards his team won PBA Commissioner's Cup Regular Season in 2023. Powell received All-Big East Player of the Year award back in 2020 at his college time.
He graduated from Seton Hall University in 2020 and it will be his fifth season in pro basketball.
