NBL Round 5 (Regular Season): Jiangsu YS lose to Changsha

Bottom-ranked Wuhan is still unable to win any game. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their sixth consecutive match to second ranked Anhui W. (5-1) 112-107 on Friday evening. Anhui W. maintains second place with 5-1 record behind leader HK JinNiu. Wuhan lost their sixth game in a row. They still close the standings with six games lost. They share the position with Hefei. Anhui W. will meet at home Hefei (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Wuhan will play against Hebei and hopes to get finally their first victory.

In the last two games of round 5 Guangxi beat Hefei on the road 95-91. Henan lost to Hebei on its own court 88-99.

Hefei lost their sixth game in a row. They still close the standings with six games lost. They share the position with Wuhan. Guangxi will meet Jiangxi (#4) in the next round. Hefei will play against the league's second-placed Anhui W. (#2) and looks forward to get finally their first victory.

Henan - Hebei 88-99

There was a minor upset when 4th placed Henan (3-3) lost at home to eighth ranked Hebei (3-3) 99-88 on Saturday. Hebei moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Henan. Hebei will meet at home bottom-ranked Wuhan (#10) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Henan will play against Jiangsu YS (#7) and hope to secure a win.
