Richard Solomon (ex Parma-Pari) joins Ducks

Richard Solomon

Shougang Beijing Ducks (CBA) added 32-year-old USA center Richard Solomon (208cm-107kg-1992, college: California, agency: Pensack Sports) to their roster for the new 2024-25 season. He played last season at Parma-Pari in the Russian VTB United League. In 38 games, he had 10.9ppg, 7.5rpg (#4 in the league), and 1.1apg. It was a very impressive season for him, and he was named to the VTB United League All-Star Game.
He was a member of the USA international program for several years. Solomon was called to the USA Senior National Team in 2018 and previously to the Under 19 National Team in 2011.
He is a quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit three different continents, while he played in eight different countries. Solomon tasted the life as a pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, and of course North America. He has played previously professionally in France (JDA Dijon and Gravelines Dunkerque), Japan (Alvark Tokyo and Grouses), Turkey (Usak, Bahcesehir, and Bodrum), NBA (Atlanta Hawks and OKC Thunder), NBA G League (OKC Blue), NBA Summer League (Toronto Raptors), and The Basketball Tournament (LA Cheaters and Team Solomonartfire).
He won The Basketball Tournament championship title in 2023 among many awards. He was also voted Eurobasket.com All-FIBA Europe Cup Center of the Year in 2022.
Solomon graduated from the University of California in 2014 and it will be his 11th season as a pro player.
