Queen Egbo agreed terms with Fujian

Fujian Zoten (WCBA) has bolstered their team by signing Queen Egbo, a 23-year-old American center who stands at 190cm. Egbo, who played college basketball at Baylor, most recently played for the Washington Mystics in the WNBA. In 23 games last season, she averaged 5.7 points per game and 4.1 rebounds per game. Prior to her time in the WNBA, Egbo played for Cankaya in the Turkish league and also had a stint with Nesibe, another Turkish team.
Two years ago, she was drafted by the Indiana Fever in the first round of the WNBA draft, being selected as the 10th overall pick.
She graduated from Baylor University in 2022, and this is her second season in professional basketball.
Five years ago, she represented the USA at the U19 World Cup in Bangkok, Thailand. Her team emerged victorious, clinching the gold medal. Throughout the tournament, she showcased impressive statistics, averaging 7.9 points per game, 5.4 rpg, with a field goal percentage (FGP) of 58.3% and a free throw percentage (FT) of 72.2%.
In 2022, she played in the final of the Big 12 Tournament and was voted to the WNBA All-Rookie Team.
