Tofas Bursa (BSL) added to their roster 33-year old American 191cm guard Marcus Denmon (college: Missouri). It is actually his comeback to Tofas as he has played here before. Denmon played this summer at Anhui Wenyi in Chinese NBL league. He managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year (!!!). Denmon helped them to win the NBL title. The last season he played at Peristeri in Greek GBL where in 32 games he was league's third best scorer with impressive 16.0ppg and had 2.4rpg, 2.5apg and 1.6spg (in top 3). He contributed to his team making it to the cup final and to the league semifinals. Great season indeed as he was awarded Eurobasket.com All-Greek A1 Import Player of the Year and voted to All-Imports Team and League Player of the Week. Denmon also played 9 games in Basketball Champions League where he recorded 13.0ppg, 1.2rpg, 2.1apg and 1.3spg.
In 2012 he was drafted by San Antonio Spurs (NBA) in second round (59th overall). The former University of Missouri standout is in his twelfth (!!!) season in pro basketball.
He is a very experienced player. Denmon has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to five different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in France (Chalon/Saor), Italy (Brindisi), Greece (Panathinaikos), China (Golden Bulls, Sharks, Royal Fighters and Hunan) and Turkey (Gaziantep, Istanbul Buyuksehir Belediyesi and Petkimspor).
