Qingdao Eagles (CBA) inked 26-year old American ex-international 188cm guard Myles Powell (college: Seton Hall) for upcoming season. Powell played this summer at Houston Rockets in the NBA Summer League. He managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year (!!!). In only one NBA Summer League game just recently he had 4 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists. Powell also played for Bay Area in Filipino league that season where in three NBA Summer League games he recorded very impressive stats: 23.7ppg, 4.3rpg, 6.7apg and 2.0spg. He also played 10 games in Filipino PBA where he averaged remarkable 35.6ppg, 8.1rpg, 3.2apg and 1.6spg.
Powell represented USA at the Panamerican Games in Lima (Peru) four years ago. Powell's team won Bronze and his stats at that event were 5 games: 14.6ppg, 1.6rpg, 1.0apg, FGP: 61.3%, 3PT: 30.4%, FT: 87.5%.
He has played also professionally in NBA (NY Knicks and Philadelphia 76ers), NBA G League (Delaware Blue Coats and Westchester Knicks) and NBA Summer League (Philadelphia 76ers and Philadelphia 76ers). His team won PBA Commissioner's Cup Regular Season in 2023.
Powell received All-Big East Player of the Year award back in 2020.
He graduated from Seton Hall University in 2020 and it will be his fourth season in pro basketball.
