Guangsha Lions ink Cameron Oliver, ex Ponce

Zhejiang Guangsha Lions (CBA) agreed terms with 27-year old American forward Cameron Oliver (203cm-102kg-1996, college: Nevada) for new 2023-24 season. Oliver joins another USA player Derrick Walton Jr. who is already in the roster.
He played this summer at Ponce in Puerto Rican BSN league, but left the team in May. In 19 games just recently he had very impressive stats: 15.2ppg, 8.1rpg, 2.6apg and 1.2bpg. The last season he played at TNT Tropang in Filipino PBA where in 9 games he recorded also remarkable stats: 28.9ppg, 13.7rpg, 3.6apg and 1.8bpg.
He is quite experienced player. Oliver's career allowed him to visit five different continents, while he played in six different countries. He tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Latin America, Australia and of course North America. Oliver has played previously professionally in Australia (Cairns Taipans), Israel (Ironi Nes Ziona), Spain (Unicaja), NBA (Atlanta Hawks, Houston Rockets and LA Lakers), NBA G League (South Bay Lakers and Delaware Blue Coats) and NBA Summer League (GS Warriors and GS Warriors).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team was regular season runner-up in Puerto Rican BSN Group A in 2022. He was voted to Australiabasket.com All-Australian NBL Honorable Mention in 2021.
Oliver graduated from University of Nevada in 2018 and it will be his sixth season as a professional player. He played also for Oregon State University for one year.
