NBL Round 21: Anhui W. is defeated by Hebei

The Regular Season in NBL just ended. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Anhui W. (16-6) on the court of sixth ranked Hebei on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by Hebei 110-97. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Anhui W.. Hebei maintains sixth place with 10-12 record. Anhui W. at the other side still keeps top position with six games lost.
Very significant was HK JinNiu's (#7) just 2-point road victory against 8th ranked Wuhan 101-99. Newly promoted HK JinNiu maintains seventh place with 9-13 record, which they share with Jiangsu YS and Hefei. Wuhan at the other side dropped to the tenth position with 14 games lost.
Very important is a road loss of third ranked Guangxi (14-8) against fourth ranked Hunan (14-8) on Sunday night. Visiting Guangxi was defeated by Hunan in a tough game in Changsha 107-116. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Guangxi. Hunan have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Guangxi and Liaoning Y.

There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 21: Hefei won against Jiangxi on the opponent's court 107-101. Liaoning Y. outscored Shaanxi in a home game 125-102. Henan recorded a loss to Jiangsu YS on the road 108-90.

Jiangxi - Hefei 101-107

Rather expected game when 12th ranked Jiangxi (7-15) was defeated at home by ninth ranked Hefei (9-13) 107-101 on Sunday. Hefei moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Jiangsu YS and HK JinNiu. Jiangxi lost seventh consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom position with 15 games lost. They share it with Henan.

Hebei - Anhui W. 110-97

There was a small surprise when fifth ranked Liaoning Y. (14-8) smashed at home second-best Shaanxi (15-7) 125-102 on Sunday. Liaoning Y. moved-up to third place, which they share with Guangxi and Hunan. Loser Shaanxi keeps the second position with seven games lost.

Jiangsu YS - Henan 108-90

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 11th ranked Henan's (7-15) road loss to tenth ranked Jiangsu YS (9-13) 90-108 on Sunday. Jiangsu YS moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Hefei and HK JinNiu. Henan lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the eleventh position with 15 games lost. They share it with Jiangxi.
