NBL Round 13: HK JinNiu defeat Shaanxi

Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Shaanxi (11-3) on the court of eleventh ranked HK JinNiu on Friday night. Visitors were defeated by HK JinNiu 87-80. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Shaanxi. HK JinNiu (5-9) moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Henan. Shaanxi at the other side still keeps top position with three games lost. HK JinNiu is looking forward to face league's second-placed Anhui W. on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Shaanxi will play against Guangxi and is hoping to win this game.
Very important is a road loss of third ranked Liaoning Y. (9-5) against ninth ranked Jiangxi (6-8) on Friday night. Visiting Liaoning Y. was defeated by Jiangxi in a tough game on the road 93-98. Jiangxi moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Liaoning Y. at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the third position with five games lost. Jiangxi will play against Jiangsu YS (#7) in Yannan in the next round. Liaoning Y. will play at home against Hebei (#6) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
An interesting game for Anhui W. (10-4) which hosted in Anhui 4th placed Hunan (8-6). Second ranked Anhui W. had an easy win 114-92. Anhui W. have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain second place with 10-4 record behind leader Shaanxi. Loser Hunan keeps the fourth position with six games lost. They share it with Guangxi. Anhui W. will meet at home HK JinNiu (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Hunan will play against Hefei (#8) and hope to secure a win.

Other games in round 13 were not that significant. Guangxi beat Henan on the road 92-83. Hefei destroyed Jiangsu YS on its own court 117-96. Hebei unfortunately lost to Wuhan in a road game 116-120.
