NBL Round 6 of Regular Season

NBL round 6 most important game was a victory of Anhui W. over 7th ranked Henan 106-99 on Sunday night. Anhui W. (3-3) moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Hebei. Henan lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the seventh position with four games lost. They share it with 4 other teams. Anhui W. is looking forward to face higher ranked Shaanxi (#3) in Xian in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Henan will play against Hefei (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Another interesting game for Jiangsu YS (5-1) which played on the court of second-best Liaoning Y. (4-2). Third ranked Jiangsu YS had an easy win 109-99. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Liaoning Y.. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Jiangsu YS have an impressive five-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Shaanxi and Hunan. Newly promoted Liaoning Y. dropped to the fourth place with two games lost. Jiangsu YS will play against bottom-ranked Wuhan (#12) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Liaoning Y. will play against the league's leader Hunan (#1) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
NBL top team - Hunan (5-1) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed fifth ranked Hebei (3-3) in Changsha 141-120. Hunan have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 5-1 record, which they share with Shaanxi and Jiangsu YS. Hebei lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with three games lost. They share the position with Anhui W.. Hunan will meet Liaoning Y. (#4) in the next round. Hebei will play against HK JinNiu and hope to secure a win.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 6: Guangxi was beaten by Hefei on the road 117-105. Bottom-ranked Wuhan lost to Shaanxi on its own court 86-101. HK JinNiu unfortunately lost to Jiangxi in a road game 99-106.

Hefei - Guangxi 117-105

There was a small surprise when eleventh ranked Hefei (2-4) beat at home 9th ranked Guangxi (2-4) 117-105 on Sunday. Hefei moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Guangxi. Hefei will meet Henan (#10) on the road in the next round. Guangxi will play against Jiangxi and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Henan - Anhui W. 99-106
