Li Yueru agreed terms with Besiktas

Besiktas JK Istanbul (KBSL) strengthened their roster with addition of 24-year old Chinese international 201cm center Li Yueru for season 2023-24. Yueru plays this summer at Chicago Sky (WNBA).
In 2019 she was drafted by Atlanta Dream (WNBA) in third round (35th overall).
She has been also a member of Chinese international program for some years. Yueru has regularly played for Chinese senior team since 2017 and previously for U19 National Team back in 2017.
She represented China at the FIBA World Cup for Women in Sydney (Australia) last year. Her team won Silver and her stats at that event were 8 games: 10.1ppg, 7.6rpg, 1.3apg, FGP: 60.3%, FT: 73.3%.
Yueru has played also professionally for other Chinese teams like Vermilion Birds and Mongolia. She won Chinese WCBA championship title in 2019, 2021 and 2022. Yueru was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Chinese WCBA Honorable Mention back in 2018 and 2020.
