Flying Leopards sign JaKarr Sampson, ex Virtus BO

Liaoning Flying Leopards (CBA) signed 29-year old American forward JaKarr Sampson (206cm-97kg-1993, college: St.John's) for upcoming 2022-23 season. Sampson played last season at Virtus Segafredo Bologna in Italian Serie A. In 32 games he had 6.5ppg and 3.4rpg. He helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final. Sampson also played 19 games in Eurocup where he recorded 7.3ppg and 3.4rpg. He also spent pre-season at the Pacers in NBA.
Sampson has played previously professionally in NBA (Chicago Bulls, Denver Nuggets, Philadelphia 76ers and Sacramento Kings) and NBA G League (Fort Wayne Mad Ants, Iowa Wolves, Delaware Blue Coats and Windy City Bulls).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he won NBA G League Soutwest Division championship title in 2018. He was voted to D-League All-Star Game back in 2017.
Sampson graduated from St. John's University in 2014 and it will be his ninth season as a professional player.
He could be described: A long, athletic, slashing scorer .. a noted shot-blocker and prolific offensive and defensive rebounder.
