The American Player, Elijah Holman (208-F/C-89, college: Detroit), filed a claim against the Chinese Club, Tianjin Ronggang Basketball Club, for outstanding salaries and interest. The Claimant submitted that the Respondent improperly terminated the Contract by claiming that the Claimant failed the initial medical examination. In its Answer, the Respondent argued that the Claimant failed his medical examination after a thorough review process conducted by the Respondent and counterclaimed stating that the Claimant failed to reveal that he had not fully recovered from his injury. The claim was partially upheld.
