Liaoning Flying Leopards (CBA) added to their roster 30-year old American international point guard Kyle Fogg (190-85kg-90, college: Arizona). He is not a newcomer in Chinese League as he played last season at Beijing Royal Fighters. In 44 CBA games in China he recorded very impressive stats: 27.3ppg, 6.2rpg, 6.4apg and 3.0spg. A very spectacular season in his career as he was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Chinese CBA 2nd Team and League Player of the Week (2 times).
The previous (18-19) season Fogg played at Long Lions where in 45 CBA games he averaged remarkable 34.4ppg, 8.4rpg, 7.6apg and 2.1spg. Good season as he was also here named League Player of the Week (2 times).
Fogg has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2012. Fogg has been regularly called to USA Senior National Team since 2020.
He is quite experienced player. Thanks to Fogg's pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America) in six different countries. Fogg has played previously professionally in Belgium (Antwerp Giants), Finland (Kobrat), Germany (Eisbaeren Bremerhaven), Spain (Unicaja Malaga), NBA G League (Rio Grande Valley Vipers and Delaware Blue Coats) and The Basketball Tournament (Overseas Elite).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted Eurobasket.com All-Finnish Korisliiga Player of the Year and Eurobasket.com All-Finnish Korisliiga Import of the Year back in 2014.
He attended University of Arizona until 2012 and it will be his ninth season as a professional player.
The scouts decsribe him following way: A very good defender on the perimeter, he is fundamentally sound and can help his team in every part of the game. Offensively, he's a good scorer and long distance shooter.
