Hao Su claims Chinese NBL weekly honour

Hao Su (200-C-95) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Wuhan and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents NBL Player of the Week award for round 18.
The 25-year old center had a double-double of 32 points and fifteen rebounds, while his team outclassed Anhui P. (#9, 3-14) with 31-point margin 136-105. Wuhan maintains the 4th position in Chinese NBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Wuhan will need more victories to improve their 13-4 record. In the team's last game Su had a remarkable 76.5% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Wuhan, through which he has constantly improved. Su has impressive league stats. He is league's best scorer averaging so far 14.1ppg. Su is in league's top in rebounds (5th best: 8.8rpg), assists (2nd best: 0.5apg) and averages solid 69.8% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 25-year old forward Boyang Zhao (200-F-95) of Luoyang. Zhao impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 40 points and 12 rebounds. Bad luck as Luoyang lost that game 98-125 to the higher-ranked Hunan (#6, 8-9). Luoyang are still at the very bottom. 17 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Zhao is a newcomer at Luoyang and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.3ppg (#4). He also registered 7.1 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was another Wuhan's star - Rongxiao Sun (202-F-95). Sun showcased his all-around game by recording 26 points, thirteen rebounds (!!!) and seven assists in the last round. He was another key player of Wuhan, helping his team with a 109-71 easy win against slightly lower-ranked Foshan (#5, 9-8). Wuhan needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 13 victories and 4 lost games. Sun has a great season in China. After 16 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 28.9ppg (best scorer), rebounds with 7.5rpg (9th best) and assists with 5.1apg (2nd best). He also has FGP: 56.0% and 3PT: 40.7%.
