Jia's 35-point game gives him NBL Player of the Week award

21-year old guard Hao Jia (190-G-99) had an amazing evening in the last round for Henan and receives a Hoops Agents NBL Player of the Week award for round 16.
He had the game-high 35 points adding eight rebounds and five assists for Henan in his team's victory, helping them to beat Anhui P. (#9, 3-11) 105-94. Henan maintains the 8th position in Chinese NBL. Henan is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 5-9 record. In the team's last game Jia had a remarkable eight three-pointers out of 16 attempts. He has many years of experience at Henan, through which he has constantly improved. Jia has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (2nd best: 26.5ppg), rebounds (8th best: 6.8rpg), assists (6th best: 2.7apg) and averages solid 51.5% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Rongxiao Sun (202-F-95) of Wuhan. He is a forward in his first season at Wuhan. In the last game Sun recorded impressive 29 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Of course he led Wuhan to another comfortable win 101-84 over slightly lower-ranked Chongqing (#6, 7-7) being unquestionably team leader. Wuhan's 4th position in the standings has not changed. His team's 10-4 record is not bad at all. Sun is a newcomer at Wuhan and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 29.2ppg (#1). His other stats are also decent: 6.8rpg and 5.0apg.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Jun Ling (196-F) of Anhui P. (#9). Ling scored 28 points. Despite Ling's great performance Anhui P. lost 94-105 to slightly higher-ranked Henan (#8, 5-9). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Anhui P. can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 3-11 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Ling has a very solid season. In 11 games in China he scored 8.3ppg.
