Rio Grande Valley Vipers ink Jarell Martin, ex Shenzhen L.

Rio Grande Valley Vipers agreed terms with 25-year old forward Jarell Martin (208-109kg-94, college: LSU). He just played at Shenzhen Leopards in Chinese CBA league. In 14 games he had 13.1ppg, 7.0rpg, 1.7apg and 1.4spg this season. Martin also spent pre-season at the Cavaliers earlier that year.
In 2015 he was drafted by Memphis Grizzlies (NBA) in first round (25th overall). Martin attended Louisiana State University and it is his fifth season in pro basketball.
He was voted All-SEC 1st Team back in 2015 at his college time.
Martin has played previously professionally in other NBA teams (Orlando Magic) and NBA G League (Memphis Hustle).
