Julian Boyd (ex KR) signs at Zhuhai

Zhuhai Wolf Warriors (ASEAN) landed 29-year old American forward Julian Boyd (201-104kg-90, college: LIU Brooklyn). He played most recently at KR Reykjavik in Icelandic Dominos League. In 34 games he was third best scorer with impressive 22.1ppg and recorded 9.8rpg (#4 in the league), 2.4apg and 1.2spg last season. Boyd helped them to win the league title and they also played in the Supercup final. It was a very successful season in his career as he was awarded Eurobasket.com All-Icelandic League Player of the Year, selected to 1st Team and selected to All-Imports Team.
The previous (17-18) season Boyd played at London Lightning in Canadian NBL Canada where in 31 games he averaged 12.5ppg, 6.3rpg and 1.1apg.
He received All-NEC Player of the Year award back in 2012 at his college time.
Boyd has played also professionally in Finland (Porvoon Tarmo).
He attended Long Island University until 2014 and it will be his sixth season in pro basketball.
