DEVIN GREEN

Al Sadd Sports Club Doha (D1) agreed terms with experienced 36-year old American swingman Devin Green (201-98kg-82, college: Hampton). He played last summer at Wuhan in Chinese NBL league. In 26 games he had very impressive stats: 23.8ppg, 9.7rpg and 5.0apg. The last season Green was tested by Champville (LBL) in Lebanese league where in three games he recorded 14.0ppg, 8.0rpg and 1.7apg.
In 2006 (a year after he left the college) Green was drafted by Los Angeles D-Fenders (D-League) in first round (7th overall).
He attended Hampton University until 2005 and it is his 14th (!!!) season in pro basketball.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Green won Venezuelan LNB championship title in 2014. He was also voted Latinbasket.com All-Venezuelan LNB 2014 Import Player of the Year back in 2014.
Green is quite experienced player. He has played in twelve different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). Green has played previously professionally in Argentina (Echague), Belgium (Spirou Charleroi), Bulgaria, Dominican Rep., Germany, Greece, Italy, Mexico (Barreteros and Ostioneros de Guaymas), Puerto Rico, Ukraine, Venezuela (Guaros) and Dominican Republic (Reales de La Vega).
It's very possible he may end his playing career at Al Sadd.
