JAMAAL FRANKLIN

27-year old shooting guard Jamaal Franklin (196-SG-91, agency: Slash Sports) had a very impressive game in the last round for Sichuan BW and receives a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 35.
He recorded a triple-double of 51 points adding also 18 rebounds and 13 assists, while his team beat Qingdao E. (#15, 10-25) 121-112. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings. Sichuan BW maintains the 18th position in Chinese league. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 26 games and recorded just eight victories. In the team's last game Franklin had a remarkable 81.3% from 2-point range and got three three-pointers out of 7 attempts. It's his second year at Sichuan BW and it's hard to imagine this team without him. San Diego State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Franklin is in league's top in points (9th best: 32.9ppg), assists (6th best: 7.8apg) and averages solid 1.9bpg,2.5spg and 60.3% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Dakari Johnson (213-C/F-95) of Qingdao E.. He is American in his first season at Qingdao E.. In the last game Johnson recorded impressive double-double of 35 points and 18 rebounds. Bad luck as Qingdao E. lost that game 112-121 to the lower-ranked Sichuan BW (#18, 8-26). The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Qingdao E. keeps 15th position. 25 lost games are too many comparing to just ten victories Qingdao E. managed to get this year. Johnson is a newcomer at Qingdao E. and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Andrew Nicholson (206-PF-89) of Fujian S. (#7). Nicholson got into 30-points club by scoring 41 points in the last round. He went also for six rebounds . He was a key player of Fujian S., leading his team to a 128-111 easy win against the lower-ranked Beijing Dragons (#20, 7-27). Fujian S. needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 19 victories and 15 lost games. Nicholson has a very solid season. In 31 games in China he scored 28.7ppg. He also has 9.4rpg, FGP: 62.2% and 3PT: 46.0%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Taylor Rochestie (185-PG-85) of Tianjin GL - 42 points, 4 rebounds and 8 assists
5. Courtney Fortson (180-PG-88) of Guangsha L. - 32 points, 8 rebounds and 13 assists
6. Ricky Ledo (201-F/G-92) of Beijing Dragons - 38 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists
7. Justin Hamilton (213-C-90) of Beijing Ducks - 29 points, 15 rebounds and 2 assists
8. Jianlian Yi (212-PF-87) of Guangdong ST - 32 points and 13 rebounds
9. Darius Adams (188-PG-89) of Xinjiang FT - 41 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists
10. Jimmer Fredette (188-PG-89) of Shanghai S. - 41 points, 3 rebounds and 5 assists
