An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Beijing. First ranked Guandong Tigers faced 3rd placed Beijing Ducks. Guests from Dongguan (21-3) defeated host Beijing Ducks (17-7) 96-87. It ended at the same time the 13-game winning streak of Beijing Ducks. Guandong Tigers dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Beijing Ducks' 42. They outrebounded Beijing Ducks 46-32 including a 36-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. 26 personal fouls committed by Beijing Ducks helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The former international Jianlian Yi (212-87) fired a double-double by scoring 27 points and 19 rebounds for the winners. International power forward JunFei Ren (203-90) chipped in 17 points and 10 rebounds. Croatian-American center Justin Hamilton (213-90, college: LSU) produced a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guandong Tigers have an impressive series of eighteen victories in a row. They maintain first place with 21-3 record. Beijing Ducks at the other side dropped to the fifth position with seven games lost. Guandong Tigers are looking forward to face Fly Dragons (#18) in Beijing in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Beijing Ducks will have a break next round.
Bottom-ranked Gold Lions managed to get a fifth victory, breaking the series of ten consecutive losses. This time they won against eleventh-ranked Jilin Tigers in Changchun 110-105. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Jilin Tigers. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Montenegrin point guard Taylor Rochestie (185-85, college: Washington St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 44 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 10 assists. DeShuai Shi contributed with 23 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American guard Dominique Jones (193-88, college: S.Florida) answered with 36 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 6 assists for Jilin Tigers. Gold Lions (5-19) moved-up to nineteenth place, which they share with Bayi R. Jilin Tigers at the other side keep the eleventh position with 13 games lost. Gold Lions will play against higher ranked Long-Lions (#9) in Guangzhou in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Jilin Tigers will play on the road against Golden Stars in Jinan and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game in Jinjiang was also quite interesting. Fifth ranked Zhejiang Guangsha Lions (17-6) played at the court of 8th ranked Sturgeons (13-11). Zhejiang Guangsha Lions managed to secure a 5-point victory 121-116 on Tuesday. Courtney Fortson stepped up with a triple-double by scoring 35 points (!!!), 10 rebounds and 14 assists for the winners. At the losing side Andrew Nicholson responded with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 15 rebounds (perfect behind the arc making all five shots). Sturgeons' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the third consecutive win for Zhejiang Guangsha Lions. They moved-up to fourth place. Loser Sturgeons keep the eighth position with 11 games lost. They share it with Guangzhou LL. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions will meet Sharks (#7) in the next round. Sturgeons will play against Bayi Rockets in Ningbo and hope to secure a win.

Jiangsu Dragons will play on the road against Eagles (#17) in Qingdao and hope to win that game.
We should mention about the upset which took place in Jiangsu, where 14th ranked Monkey Kings (8-16) lost at home to seventeenth ranked Eagles (7-17) 115-121 on Tuesday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Monkey Kings. Jonathan Gibson fired 42 points (!!!) (made all of his ten free throws !!!) for the winners. Eagles' coach Bin Fan used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Eagles maintains seventeenth place with 7-17 record, which they share with Beijing Dragons. Loser Monkey Kings keep the fourteenth position with 16 games lost. Eagles will face higher ranked Jiangsu Dragons (#10) in Nanjing in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.

Other games of round 25 were very predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
Shandong GS were defeated by Liaoning FL in Yingkou 102-84. Guangzhou LL was beaten by Shenzhen L. at home 113-121. Shanghai S. destroyed Bayi R. on the opponent's court 103-82. Zhejiang Ch. unfortunately lost to Beijing Dragons in a home game 84-95.



Xinjiang FT - Jiangsu D. 101-99

Tenth-ranked Jiangsu Dragons (11-13) made lots of trouble for sixth ranked Xinjiang Flying Tige (16-7) in Urumqi. Xinjiang Flying Tige managed to secure only two-point victory 101-99. However their fans expected much easier game. Xinjiang Flying Tige outrebounded Jiangsu Dragons 51-36 including a 40-29 advantage in defensive rebounds. American-Bulgarian point guard Darius Adams (188-89, college: Indianapolis, agency: IPZ) nailed 38 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side and Iranian center Hamed Haddadi (218-85) accounted for 7 points and 19 rebounds. Forward Yifan Hou (196-92) came up with 27 points and 9 rebounds and American guard Donald Sloan (190-88, college: Texas A&M) added 21 points and 7 assists respectively for Jiangsu Dragons in the defeat. Four Xinjiang Flying Tige and five Jiangsu Dragons players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for Xinjiang Flying Tige. They maintain sixth place with 16-7 record. Jiangsu Dragons lost their fifth game in a row. There was no surprise in Yingkou where 12th ranked Golden Stars (10-14) were defeated by second ranked Flying Leopards (20-4) 102-84 on Tuesday. Flying Leopards made 27-of-33 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. Flying Leopards outrebounded Golden Stars 59-44 including a 47-31 advantage in defensive rebounds. Golden Stars were plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. The former international Ailun Guo (192-93) fired a double-double by scoring 25 points, 9 rebounds, 11 assists and 4 steals for the winners. American forward Brandon Bass (203-85, college: LSU, agency: IPZ) chipped in a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Five Flying Leopards players scored in double figures.
