Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

The most interesting game of round 11 was a home defeat of 5th ranked Flying Leopards (7-4) to third ranked Xinjiang Flying Tigers (8-3) 124-119. Xinjiang Flying Tige made 20-of-24 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three sinking 22 long-distance shots on high 52.4 percentage. Xinjiang Flying Tige looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. 26 personal fouls committed by Flying Leopards helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for American-Bulgarian point guard Darius Adams (188-89, college: Indianapolis, agency: IPZ) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 12 assists. American power forward Al Jefferson (208-85) helped adding 17 points and 10 rebounds. American forward Brandon Bass (203-85, college: LSU, agency: IPZ) responded with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 19 rebounds. Xinjiang Flying Tige have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Shenzhen L. Defending champion Flying Leopards dropped to the fourth position with four games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
Important game to mention about took place in Shanghai. Ninth ranked Golden Stars (7-4) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging second-ranked Sharks (7-4) 99-96 in the game for the fourth place. It was an exceptional evening for Lithuanian power forward Donatas Motiejunas (213-90) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 32 points, 32 rebounds and 6 assists. Cheng Jia accounted for 13 points and 9 rebounds. American point guard Jimmer Fredette (188-89, college: BYU) came up with 33 points (!!!), 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals for Sharks in the defeat. Sharks' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Golden Stars have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Sharks. Golden Stars will play against Sturgeons (#10) in Jinjiang in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Sharks will have a break next round.
Fourth ranked Leopards (8-3) crushed at home 14th ranked Jiangsu Dragons (4-7) by 16 points 118-102, which is the biggest margin this round on Tuesday night. The best player for the winners was Jared Sullinger who had a double-double by scoring 27 points and 18 rebounds. Donald Sloan produced 33 points (!!!) and 5 assists for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Leopards have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Xinjiang FT. Jiangsu Dragons lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourteenth position with seven games lost. Leopards will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Jiangsu Dragons will play against Fly Dragons (#17) and hope to secure a win.

There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 11: Bayi R. lost to Guangzhou LL on the opponent's court 92-105. Beijing Dragons unfortunately lost to Fujian S. in a home game 131-140. Beijing Ducks managed to beat Nanjing TX MK on the road 89-73.



Guangzhou LL - Bayi R. 105-92

Very expected game in Guangzhou where 15th ranked Bayi Rockets (3-8) were defeated by eleventh ranked Long-Lions (6-5) 105-92 on Tuesday. Long-Lions looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was American point guard Kyle Fogg (190-90, college: Arizona) who had a triple-double by scoring 16 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. His fellow American import power forward Marreese Speights (208-87, college: Florida) chipped in 32 points (perfect behind the arc making all five shots). International center Hao Fu (206-97) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and Aersilan Azat added 17 points and 6 assists respectively for the guests. Four Long-Lions and five Bayi Rockets players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Long-Lions moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Fujian S. Bayi Rockets at the other side dropped to the sixteenth position with eight games lost. They share it with Beijing Dragons. Long-Lions will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Bayi Rockets will play against Beijing Ducks (#5) and hope to secure a win.

Sturgeons dominated down low during the game scoring 76 of its points in the paint compared to Fly Dragons' 32. They outrebounded Fly Dragons 57-35 including a 46-29 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American-Ukrainian point guard Eugene Jeter (180-83, college: Portland) who had a double-double by scoring 39 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 11 assists. Canadian Andrew Nicholson (206-89, college: St.Bonaventure) chipped in a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 13 rebounds. American point guard Pierre Jackson (180-91, college: Baylor) produced a double-double by scoring 48 points (!!!), 6 rebounds, 15 assists and 4 steals and the other American import forward Shavlik Randolph (208-83, college: Duke) added 19 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Sturgeons maintains tenth place with 6-5 record, which they share with Guangzhou LL. Fly Dragons at the other side dropped to the sixteenth position with eight games lost. They share it with Bayi R.. Sturgeons will meet at home higher ranked Golden Stars (#7) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Fly Dragons will play against Jiangsu Dragons (#14) in Nanjing and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
