American Marcus Denmon (191-G-90, agency: BeoBasket) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's leader Zhejiang Ch. and that's him to receive a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 6.
The 28-year old guard had a double-double of 54 points and eleven rebounds, while his team crushed Liaoning FL (#5, 5-2) with 17-point margin 119-102. It allowed Zhejiang Ch. to jump to the first place in the Chinese CBA. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Zhejiang Ch. has a very solid 7-3 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. In the team's last game Denmon had a remarkable 52.6% from 2-point range and got eight three-pointers out of 13 attempts. He turned to be Zhejiang Ch.'s top player in his first season with the team. University of Missouri graduate has very impressive stats this year. Denmon is in league's top in points (5th best: 37.0ppg) and averages solid 53.3% FGP and 44.6% from behind 3-point line.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 27-year old American point guard Pierre Jackson (180-PG-91) of Beijing Dragons. Jackson impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 58 points and 10 assists. Of course he led Beijing Dragons to another comfortable win 136-121 over the higher-ranked Jilin NE T. (#12, 2-4) being unquestionably team leader. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. But Beijing Dragons managed to improve slightly their position in standings taking 18th place. 5 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Beijing Dragons managed to get this year. Jackson is a newcomer at Beijing Dragons and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 46.7ppg (#1). His other stats are also decent: 6.5rpg and 8.5apg.

The third best performed player last round was American Kyle Fogg (190-PG-90) of Guangzhou LL (#3). Fogg got into 30-points club by scoring 53 points in the last round. He went also for seven rebounds . He was a key player of Guangzhou LL, leading his team to a 123-109 easy win against the lower-ranked Nanjing TX MK (#19, 1-5). Guangzhou LL is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 5-1 record is not that bad... Fogg has a great season in China. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 31.3ppg (7th best). He also has 3.2spg and FGP: 51.3%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Jamaal Franklin (196-SG-91) of Sichuan BW - 46 points, 6 rebounds and 11 assists
5. Jimmer Fredette (188-PG-89) of Shanghai S. - 50 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists
6. Joseph Young (188-G-92) of Nanjing TX MK - 43 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists
7. Taylor Rochestie (185-PG-85) of Tianjin GL - 33 points, 7 rebounds and 15 assists
8. Jared Sullinger (206-F-92) of Shenzhen L. - 31 points and 17 rebounds
9. Aaron Jackson (190-G-86) of Beijing Ducks - 32 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists
10. Darius Adams (188-PG-89) of Xinjiang FT - 45 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists
