Beijing signs Morgan Tuck

MORGAN TUCK

Beijing Great Wall (WCBA) signed 24-year old American international forward Morgan Tuck (188-84kg-94, college: Connecticut). She played last summer at Connecticut Sun (WNBA). In 35 games she had 5.8ppg and 2.3rpg.
The most of last season Tuck spent at Shaanxi Tianze where in 26 games she recorded very impressive stats: 29.5ppg, 9.0rpg, 1.8apg and 1.2spg. A very spectacular season in her career as she was named to Asia-Basket.com All-Chinese WCBA 2nd Team and All-Imports Team. She also spent pre-season at Elitzur Holon in Israeli league.
Two years ago Tuck was drafted by Connecticut Sun (WNBA) as #3 pick overall.
The former University of Connecticut standoutis in her third season in pro basketball.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others her team was regular season runner-up in WNBA Eastern Conference in 2017. Tuck was also voted ESPNW All-NCAA Division I 2nd Team in 2016 at her college time.
Tuck has been also a member of USA international program for some years. She played for USA senior team this year and previously for U18 National Team back in 2012.
Tuck represented USA at the World Championships U19 in Lithuania five years ago. Her team won Gold and her stats at that event were 9 games: 13.1ppg, 4.7rpg, 2.0apg, 2.1spg, FGP: 52.4%, 3PT: 27.3%, FT: 75.0%.
