Shandong Sports Lottery (WCBA) tabbed 31-year old American guard DeWanna Bonner (193-64kg-87, college: Auburn, agency: ProDep Management). She played in the summer at Phoenix Mercury (WNBA). Bonner managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year (!!!). In 41 WNBA games she averaged impressive 18.4ppg, 7.9rpg and 3.0apg. She helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league. They also advanced to the league semifinals. She can count that season as a very successful as was selected to WNBA All-Star Game. The last season Bonner played at USK Praha in league where in 11 games she had 12.2ppg, 5.4rpg, 1.7apg and 1.5spg. She also played 13 games in Euroleague where she recorded 13.8ppg, 8.6rpg, 2.0apg and 1.2spg. Bonner contributed to her team making it to the quarterfinals. A very impressive season as she was selected to Eurobasket.com All-Euroleague 2nd Team.
In 2009 Phoenix Mercury selected her as fifth overall pick in WNBA draft.
The former Auburn University staris in her tenth season in pro basketball.
Among other achievements she played in the final of Euroleague in 2016. Bonner received also Eurobasket.com All-Russian PBL Guard of the Year award back in 2013, 2014 and 2015.
She has played previously professionally in Spain (Perfumerias Avenida) and Russia (Nadezhda Orenburg).

Center Chenyan Xu (199-C) had a very impressive game in the last round for Jiangsu, receiving a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 20. The player had a double-double of 30 points and 15 rebounds, while her team outclassed Shaanxi (#15, 5-15) with 51-point margin 118-67. Jiangsu maintains the 3rd position in Chinese WCBA. Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management. WCBA top team - Vermilion Birds (20-0) had no problems winning another game on Tuesday. This time they crushed fourteenth ranked Liaoning Hengye (5-15) in Dongguan 79-53. They outrebounded Liaoning Hengye 44-29 including 29 on the defensive glass.
