Stefanie Dolson signs at Henan

STEFANIE DOLSON

Henan Yichuan (WCBA) landed 26-year old American ex-international center Stefanie Dolson (196-95kg-92, college: Connecticut). She played in the summer at Chicago Sky (WNBA). In 27 games she averaged 9.7ppg, 4.6rpg and 3.0apg. The last season Dolson played at Dike Napoli in league where in 9 games she had very impressive stats: 17.7ppg, 7.1rpg and 1.3apg. She was also selected League Player of the Week. She also spent pre-season at Mersin BSB in Turkish league. Dolson was also tried-out by Botas in Turkey.
In 2014 she was drafted by Washington Mystics (WNBA) in first round (6th overall).
Dolson attended University of Connecticut and it will be her fifth season in pro basketball.
Among other achievements she won NCAA championship title for two years in a row (2013 and 2014). Dolson was selected to WNBA All-Star Game in 2015 and 2017.
She was also a member of USA international program for some years. Dolson played for USA Senior National Team two years ago and previously for U18 National Team back in 2010.
She represented USA at the World Championships U19 in Chile seven years ago. Dolson's team won Gold and her stats at that event were 9 games: 9.2ppg, 4.4rpg, FGP: 61.0%, FT: 68.8%.
And here thanks to pro basketball Dolson experienced life on three different continents. She is familiar with European, Asian and of course North American leagues. Dolson has played previously professionally in Russia, Turkey (Edirne) and China (Whale).
