Shaanxi held off Guangxi to take 2-1 lead in the series. The hosts trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 58-44 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. It was a great evening for American forward Troy Gillenwater (205-88, college: N.Mexico St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 40 points (!!!) and 16 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Jerrelle Benimon (203-91, college: Towson) helped adding 17 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals. Five Shaanxi X. players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American center Isaiah Austin (216-93, college: Baylor, agency: Slash Sports) with a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!) and 14 rebounds and Indian-Canadian center Sim Bhullar (226-92, college: N.Mexico St.) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds.

Anhui - Hunan 115-113 OT

Anhui survived an overtime thriller versus Hunan to cut the deficit in the series. The hosts trailed by 14 points after three quarters before their 33-19 charge, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time and get a 2-point victory in overtime. Anhui outrebounded Hunan 57-40 including a 27-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. Hunan was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for American forward Charles Gaines (201-81, college: S.Mississippi) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 26 rebounds and 6 assists. Guard Yong Zhang (198-88) helped adding 29 points and 6 assists. Anhui's coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was American-Jamaican guard Sek Henry (193-87, college: Nebraska) with 33 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 6 assists and American center Michael Holyfield (211-92, college: Sam Houston St.) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 17 rebounds. Four Anhui and five Hunan players scored in double figures.

CBA Playoffs Set - 3 days ago
CBA Playoffs are officially set, after the Chinese version of the "First Four" were played. Jiangsu, Beijing, Fujian and Guangsha advance into the top 8.
