Xinjiang Tianshan Deers (WCBA) agreed terms with 27-year old American forward Natasha Howard (190-91, college: Florida State, agency: ProDep Management). She plays this summer at Seattle Storm (WNBA). In 36 games she had 13.3ppg, 6.4rpg, 1.2spg and 1.9bpg. The last season Howard played at Zhejiang Far East where in 27 games she recorded very impressive stats: 22.8ppg, 12.3rpg (#4 in the league), 2.0apg, 1.7spg and 1.7bpg. A very spectacular season in her career as she was named to Asia-Basket.com All-Chinese WCBA Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week (3 times).
In 2014 she was drafted by Indiana Fever (WNBA) as #5 pick overall.
Howard attended Florida State and it will be her fifth season in pro basketball.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others she was voted WBCA All-NCAA D1 Honorable Mention and All-ACC 1st Team back in 2013 and 2014 at her college time.
Howard is quite experienced player. Her career allowed her to visit three different continents, while she played in four different countries. Howard tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia and of course North America. She has played previously professionally in Israel (Elitzur Ramla), Italy (Familia Schio), Korea (KB Stars and Blue Minx) and WNBA (Minnesota Lynx).
