Beijing - Shanxi Xing Rui 85:63

Beijing Great Wall are the WCBA champions. They swept the Finals against Shanxi Xing Rui. Beijing claimed a comfortable 85:63 victory in the third game of the best-of-five series to earn the title. Sylvia Fowles (198-C-85, college: LSU) delivered 34 points to pace the winners.
Beijing dominated from start to finish. They accumulated a 24:16 lead ten minutes into the game. Beijing kept their opponents at bay throughout the second period. Beijing accumulated a 47:29 halftime lead. The hosts did not loosen the grasp in the third term. They extended the lead to as many as 22 points before the fourth period and never looked back en route to the trophy. Song Gao (188-PF-92) tossed in 12 points, while Xiufeng Shi (178-PG-87) added 11 points for the champions. Jonquel Jones (198-C-94, college: G.Washington) responded with game-high 35 points for Shanxi.
