Biao Qiu
Today at Mediolanum Forum, before the first game against the EA7 Milano for the SerieA semifinals, the president Stefano Sardara and the GM Federico Pasquini introduced to the press the last new arrival for the Banco di Sardegna Sassari, the Chinese forward Biao Qiu (200-83), ex Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank and first player from China in the Italian league history. These are the details of this agreement that could be the start for a possible Chinese tour for Sassari (like Panathinaikos) and the trasmission of the Dinamo's games in China for the next season.

Sardara: "Hello everyone, today is a source of great pride for me and for us to be here. Dinamo takes a step forward from the technical point of view but also the company, we want expand our horizons to the east, a land and culture that can give so much, fascinates us, and to which you need to open an important channel to gather perspectives and important interests. We are two worlds that are deepening their knowledge. And it is with this in mind, taking advantage of the stop to the Chinese league we have here Biao, the Chinese "Brian Sacchetti", who has a career of absolute respect. We got to see him on the court with coach Sacchetti, the first stone of a very long journey that we hope will enrich every point of view. We will begin a series of side events. We expect to deal with a world that does not know, we approach with caution, but, from a technical standpoint thanks to the sporting director Federico Pasquini and his work, we found that China has a wealth really important. We approach them with interest, with humility, hoping to continue on this path. Also important to note that we have a great wealth, which is our island, a "product" splendid to be exported abroad: thanks to this "highway" between Sardinia and the east we can show it to China, promote and enhance it. Like the rest of the technical aspect is important, as well as the business: again, are opportunities for mutual growth , development and comparison."

Qiu Biao: "Hello everyone, my name Biao. I am very happy to be here, I expect many new things, beautiful and interesting from this experience. What do I know of Sardinia and the Dinamo? I know the team is in the playoffs, have very good players and I have to say that the first impression of the island is positive: beautiful places in Sardinia, a beautiful climate, I'm ready to try the Sardinian and Italian dishes. The level of Italian basketball is important, I want to improve as a player, thanks to Dinamo Banco di Sardegna. I'm glad to be here, Sassari is a united team and I'm happy to be here. Thanks to an agreement between my team and Sassari I came to Dinamo, I have been chosen by this company. Again, I'm very very happy with this opportunity."
