 Chennedy Carter, 26-year old American point guard from the Wuhan hengfan, was selected as the Player of the Year at the Chinese Basketball Association.
She graduated from the Texas A&M five years ago.
Carter received multiple other awards, was honored as the Defensive Player of the Year, Import Player of the Year, Guard of the Year, and was named to the First Team, Imports Team and Defensive Team.
With Carter's excellent performance, the Wuhan hengfan achieved the best record of the season in the league, finishing with an impressive 26 to 6 in the regular season.

Cambage's best performance made her team reach the finals but they unfortunately lost against the Guangdong 1 to 3.
She was previously voted the Center of the Year three times, and chosen to the First Team four times in the past, Player of the Year and 2024, Import of the Year back in 2016 and Finals MVP last year.
