The guests trailed by 10 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 117-109. Xinjiang Flying Tigers shot 31 for 44 from the free-throw line, while Guandong Tigers only scored eleven points from the stripe. Xinjiang Flying Tigers forced 21 Guandong Tigers turnovers. Strangely Guandong Tigers outrebounded Xinjiang Flying Tigers 51-26 including a 23-5 advantage in offensive rebounds.
