CBL Round 7: Mekongers defeat Dragons

Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Dragons (4-2) in Phnom Penh on Saturday night. Hosts were rolled over by Mekongers (5-1) 92-65. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Mekongers have a solid series of four victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Extra Joss F. Dragons at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the third place with two games lost.
The game in supposed to be also worth to mention about. Third ranked Extra Joss F. (5-1) played at the court of 5th ranked Asian B. (2-5). Extra Joss F. smashed Asian B. 87-62. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Mekongers. Asian B. at the other side dropped to the sixth place with five games lost.

In the last game of round 7 Master Tapsi beat MOEF on the road 65-58.

There was a small surprise when sixth ranked Master Tapsi (2-4) beat on the road 4th placed MOEF (3-3) 65-58. Master Tapsi moved-up to fifth place. MOEF at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the fourth position with three games lost.
