CBL Round 6: Dragons keep a leadership position- September 14, 2020
Here is the last round review presented by ESL.
Mekongers - Beyong 78-74 Bottom-ranked Beyong (0-5) is still winless. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they lost on the road their fifth consecutive match to second ranked Mekongers (4-1) 78-74. Mekongers have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Dragons and Extra Joss F. Beyong at the other side still closes the standings with five games lost. Asian B. - Master Tapsi 83-77 The game in was also quite interesting. 5th ranked Master Tapsi (1-4) played at the court of sixth ranked Asian B. (2-4). Asian B. managed to secure a 6-point victory 83-77 on Sunday. Asian B. moved-up to fifth place. Newly promoted Master Tapsi dropped to the sixth position with four games lost. Dragons - MOEF 66-64 The game had a very big importance for third-ranked Dragons as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Dragons edged one of their biggest challengers MOEF in Phnom Penh 66-64. It was a key game for the top position in the league. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Extra Joss F. and Mekongers. MOEF at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the fourth place with two games lost. |
