CBL Round 4: Dragons lose to Extra Joss- September 5, 2020

Extra Joss F. - Dragons 70-67 There was a change at the CBL leadership position after last games. The most important game of round 4 took place in Phnom Penh between two undefeated teams where Extra Joss F. edged Dragons (3-1) 70-67 on Saturday night. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Dragons. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Extra Joss F. have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion (4-0) keeps a position of league leader. Newly promoted Dragons dropped to the second place with one game lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Extra Joss F.. Beyong - Asian B. 67-68 A very close game took place in between Asian B. and Beyong. Sixth ranked Asian B. (1-3) got a very close victory on the road over bottom-ranked Beyong (0-3). Asian B. managed to escape with a 1-point win 68-67 in the game for the fifth place. Asian B. left bottom position moving up to fifth place. It was Beyong's third loss in a row. They still close the standings with three games lost. They share the position with Master Tapsi. MOEF - Mekongers 35-59 Undefeated MOEF (2-1) recorded its first loss at the home court. Hosts were rolled over by fourth ranked Mekongers (2-1) 59-35. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of MOEF. Mekongers moved-up to third place, which they share with defeated MOEF. |
