YTE dominate RYS Basketball Cup

YTE basketball emerged champions of the RYS Basketball Cup 2019 after defeating Relics 58-32 in the finals at the New Village Basketball Court in Seria last weekend. The tournament, organised by the Belait District Basketball Association (BDBA) and Rosnah Yusof and Sons (RYS) Sdn Bhd, saw teams Wolves, YTE, Winrun, CHMS, SDA and Relics compete. Wolves crushed CHMS 107-56, pipping them to finish second in the tournament after four wins. SDA claimed third place after defeating Winrun 87-39, taking their overall wins to three. Sales and Marketing Manager of RYS Sdn Bhd Sandy Tan Siew Fun presented the prizes. BDBA Chairman Koo Kong Loi and committee members were present. The next tournament will be held on September 22 at the same venue.
