TSL Wizards, GSSI win basketball tourney

TSL Wizards were named champions of the open category of the 5th Inter-Organisational and Open Category Basketball Tournament after defeating Malar Setia 91-71 at the Brunei Basketball Association (BBA) Basketball Court last night.
GSSI won the Inter-Organisational category after beating IIEE 98-80. Rico Rusiana from TSL/Wizards won the title for 3-Points Shootout King. An exhibition match was held between the Philippines Embassy Team against FA-LBC Team before the final matches. Seven teams competed in the Open Category - TSL Wizards, Malar Setia, DHJ Contractor, 4 Da Boys, Carego, BUE and Jedstar. Ten teams split into two groups played in the Inter-Organisational Category. In Group A were IIEE, PICE, TGBI-TO, PBC and BFEC. Group B comprised GSSI, Mariskal, Triskelion, UAP-BN and PSBD. President of Filipino Association in Brunei Darussalam Maria Luisa Z Ramos presented the prizes.
