Fitness Zone beat TSL in basketball tournament

THE Brunei Basketball Association (BBA) Chairman's Cup resumed yesterday with semi-final match for the Men's Category at the BBA Basketball Court in Batu Bersurat, Gadong. Twelve teams made it through into the semi-final matches for the Men's, Veteran's and U18 categories. The four teams from the Men's Category are Fitness Zone, TSL, Systematic Living and Bina Setia. For the Veteran's Category, the four teams are Fitness Zone, Linktech, TK Tea House and GHK, while the U18 Category teams are Hot Shot, MSSSBD, Wolves and TsiNoy. Yesterday evening's first match saw Fitness Zone leading in the first quarter 30-22 but TSL managed to take the reins in the second quarter scoring 24-19 and edging the latter 24-23 in the third quarter. TSL couldn't hold to their lead as Fitness Zone led by Brunei's own celebrity - Wu Chun - managed to score 31-28 in the last quarter to secure their win and advance into the final with the score of 103-98. Two semi-final matches for the Veteran's Category will played tonight, where Fitness Zone will go against Linktech in the first match, followed by TK Tea House who will face GHK.
