Brunei to send team for Cambodia basketball meet

BRUNEI Basketball Association (BBA) will represent the country in the Cambodia Friendly Game from December 27-30 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The tournament, which focusses on youth participation aged below 20 years, will see teams from Laos, Vietnam and hosts Cambodia participating. 'We received the invitation on short notice and we have to work very hard to put a team together in the last two days. This is an excellent opportunity for our young players where they can reap great benefits,' Secretariat General of BBA and Brunei Team Manager Lim Fung said. The team comprising young players between 15-20 years include Jeremy Lim Jian Cheng, Frederick Ko Jun Yong, Muhd Amirul Akid bin Md Azwan, William Ching Wei Ren, Jayden Chen Vui Syn, Muhammad Al Nadi bin Abdul Jamal, Tan Kun Hor, Yeo Jiun Jet, Johnathan Lim Seng Wei, Liau Hong Yang, Mohd Rahimin bin Jasmin, Lim Jin Yuan and Chong Kah Hou. Head coach Ben Sim will be assisted by Haji Mohammad Sofrian bin Haji Md Yusof. Meanwhile, the tournament will also exhibit a mini 3x3 tournament where players from different countries will be mixed to form a team.
