Daniel Koperberg signs with Hapoel Afula in Israel minors - Feb 8, 2018

Hapoel Afula (National League) agreed terms with 20-year old international power forward Daniel Koperberg (207-105kg-97).

He started the season at Maccabi Haifa (Winner League). Koperberg has played there for the last three years. In 11 Winner League games he had just 2.1ppg and 2.6rpg this season. National League will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time. The last season Koperberg played also at Maccabi Haifa (also in Winner League). Winner League was a little too high level for him, where in 20 Winner League games he recorded only 1.1ppg and 1.0rpg. He helped them to make it to the final. Quite impressive season as he was named to Israeli League All-Star Game.

Despite young age Koperberg had great career. He was voted Eurobasket.com All-European Championships U20 3rd Team in 2016.
He was also a member of Israeli international program for some years. Koperberg played for Israeli Senior National Team two years ago and previously for U20 National Team between 2016 and 2017.

He also represented Israel at the World University Games in Taipei (Taiwan) last year. His stats at that event were 8 games: 10.3ppg, 4.9rpg, 1.0bpg, FGP: 57.7%, 3PT: 50.0%, FT: 76.0%.

Brunei to send team for Cambodia basketball meet - 21 days ago
BRUNEI Basketball Association (BBA) will represent the country in the Cambodia Friendly Game from December 27-30 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The tournament, which focusses on youth participation aged below 20 years, will see teams from Laos, Vietnam and hosts Cambodia participating. THE Low San Basketball Tournament 2018 concluded late Wednesday evening at the Brunei Basketball Association (BBA) Basketball Court in Batu Bersurat, Gadong. Legislative Council member Yang Berhormat Ong Tiong Oh, owner of Low San Hardware and main sponsor of the tournament, presented prizes to the winners after the last final match.
