The final will be a repeat of last year's where Kuching Lord Tiger won 86-64 to clinch the inaugural title. The see-saw game was deadlocked at 79-79 with a minute to go. The Eagles had the chance to go back up but John Foronda missed his attempt inside the paint with 43 seconds to go. Parala converted a three-point play with 24 seconds left.
