Tochigi Brex forced 20 Broncos turnovers and outrebounded them 42-28 including 29 on the defensive glass. Tochigi Brex looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American guard DJ Newbill (193-1992, college: Penn State) stepped up and scored 35 points (!!!) and 9 assists for the winners and New Zealand-Irish Finn Delany (200-1995, college: SW Baptist) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds. At the losing side Baatar-Erdene Barsbold (-2004) responded with 24 points (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) and American guard Ian Miller (191-1991, college: FSU, agency: Diamond Sports) scored 9 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.

Al Riyadi - Shabab Al Ahli 100-78

Al Riyadi shot 29 for 41 from the free-throw line, while Shabab Al Ahli only scored twelve points from the stripe. They outrebounded Shabab Al Ahli 43-31 including 21 on the offensive glass. Al Riyadi players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Shabab Al Ahli was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. Forward Hayk Gyokchyan (203-1990, college: F&M) nailed a double-double by scoring 24 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks (made all of his seven free throws) for the winning side and guard Ali Mansour (185-1998) accounted for 20 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists. Four Al Riyadi players scored in double figures. Al Riyadi's coach felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Deshawndre Washington (201, college: NM State) came up with a double-double by scoring 30 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists and the other American import guard Jermaine Love (191-1989, college: UIS) added 19 points respectively for Shabab Al Ahli in the defeat.
