Guard Deshawndre Washington (201, college: NM State, agency: The Crew A.M.) stepped up and scored 27 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and guard Jermaine Love (191-1989, college: UIS) chipped in 23 points (made all of his nine free throws !!!). Four Shabab Al Ahli players scored in double figures. American forward Jordon Varnado (198-1997, college: Troy) produced a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds and the other American import point guard Glynn Watson Jr. (183-1997, college: Nebraska) added 22 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game.

Tochigi Brex's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Croatian power forward Ivan Buva (207-1991) came up with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 15 rebounds and Arman Zangeneh (202-1993, agency: BIG) added 15 points, 17 rebounds and 7 assists respectively for Tabiat in the defeat. Al Riyadi looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Guangsha Lions' players. Australian-South Sudanese center Thon Maker (216-1997) fired a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Forward Hayk Gyokchyan (203-1990, college: F&M) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds. Four Al Riyadi players scored in double figures. Forward Junwei Xu (206-2004) produced 22 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and American Barry Brown Jr (190-1996, college: Kansas St.) added 14 points and 5 assists respectively for lost side.
