It looked good early as Pilots took a 2-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Broncos had a 16-13 second period charge getting the lead and Pilots were not able to take back game control losing it eventually 77-86. American guard Ian Miller (191-1991, college: FSU, agency: Diamond Sports) nailed 30 points and 8 assists for the winning side and Baatar-Erdene Barsbold (-2004) accounted for 15 points. Broncos' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American center Alec Brown (216-1992, college: Green Bay) came up with 22 points and 6 rebounds and center Chun-Hsiang Lu (190-1997) added 16 points and 7 assists respectively for Pilots in the defeat. Four Pilots players scored in double figures.

The game without a history. Pelita Jaya led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Pelita Jaya outrebounded Kings 52-31 including a 40-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. Pelita Jaya looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. American-Filipino forward Chris McCullough (208-1995, college: Syracuse) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and American center Jeff Withey (213-1990, college: Kansas) chipped in 19 points and 15 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Four Pelita Jaya players scored in double figures. Pelita Jaya's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American power forward Chris Johnson (210-1985, college: LSU) responded with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 14 rebounds and guard Li-Jen Lin (183-1990) scored 15 points.
