Pilots forced 19 Kings turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Hungarian-American power forward Jarrod Jones (206-1990, college: Ball St.) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and American center Alec Brown (216-1992, college: Green Bay) chipped in 10 points and 9 rebounds. At the losing side Nigerian-American guard Michael Efevberha (195-1984, college: CSUN) responded with 26 points and 9 rebounds and American power forward Chris Johnson (210-1985, college: LSU) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points, 20 rebounds and 5 assists.

Broncos players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. American guard Ian Miller (191-1991, college: FSU, agency: Diamond Sports) nailed 24 points and 8 assists for the winning side and his fellow American import forward Jordan Tolbert (200-1992, college: SMU) accounted for 16 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. American-Filipino forward Chris McCullough (208-1995, college: Syracuse) came up with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 13 rebounds and American guard Jaquori McLaughlin (193-1998, college: UCSB, agency: Pensack Sports) added 16 points and 12 rebounds respectively for Pelita Jaya in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
