Nigerian guard Efevberha Michael (195-G-1984, college: CSUN) was the top scorer of the day in the world with the 39 points he had in the Basketball Champions League Asia. Efevberha graduated from California State University Northridge in 2006. His excellent performance made his team Kings beat the Hitech 88 to 82. He is the 2nd best scorer in the league averaging over 24 points and almost 5 rebounds per game. All of the top 10 highest scorers in the league are alumni of US colleges. Among many awards his team won the UAE Vice Presidents Cup in 2021. Efevberha was selected to the Asia basket All Taiwanese PLeague+ First Team in 2024 and to the T1 League Second Team in 2023. Efevberha was selected to the Asia Basket All Lebanese League Third Team back in 2019 and the Honorable Mention between 2018 and 2019.
